Edinburgh-based production company Insane Productions Ltd is set to deliver its biggest Edinburgh Festival Fringe season to date, bringing four productions and a team of more than 15 creatives to the world's largest arts festival.
Founded in Edinburgh by Cameron Gibson, Elliot Bibby and Luke Oseland, Insane Productions Ltd has grown from a home-grown idea between three friends into one of Scotland's most exciting independent entertainment companies.
Today, the company is led by its three directors and supported by a growing network of performers, producers and creatives. What began as a collaboration between magicians has evolved into a modern production house with a reputation for creating high-quality, audience-focused entertainment.
Following a record-breaking Edinburgh Fringe 2025, where a team of nine delivered the company's most successful season yet with more than 11,000 tickets sold, Insane Productions Ltd is preparing for an even larger 2026.
This year, the company will bring together a team of over 15 people, presenting four productions across the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Across the full runs of all four shows, the venues represent a combined capacity of 20,206 seats, making 2026 the biggest undertaking in the company's history.
Four Shows for Edinburgh Fringe 2026
1 Hour Of Insane Magic
Returning for a fourth consecutive year, 1 Hour Of Insane Magic sees Cameron Gibson, Elliot Bibby and Luke Oseland reunite with their biggest show yet.
Following multiple sell-out seasons and international success, the trio are moving into a larger venue for 2026 with brand-new illusions, fresh material and the high-energy style that has made the show one of Edinburgh's standout family magic experiences.
Praised as "truly a global phenomenon", the production continues to grow year after year.
1 Hour Of Insanity
Back after a successful debut in 2025, 1 Hour Of Insanity returns for its second year with a brand-new line-up alongside several audience favourites. Hosted by Joel Fenton, he’s joined by Lily Phoenix, Jeromaia Detto, and Tom Bolton.
Blending circus, comedy and magic, the show promises an hour of organised chaos featuring internationally acclaimed performers and family-friendly entertainment.
Described as "a family-friendly version of La Clique", the production builds on the momentum of its first Fringe season and expands its all-star cast for 2026.
1 Hour Of Headline Comedy
New for 2026, 1 Hour Of Headline Comedy brings together four established headline acts in one late-night showcase.
Hosted by Amy Matthews and featuring Josh Glanc, Gareth Waugh and Max Fulham, the show offers audiences a rare opportunity to see some of the UK's finest comedians sharing a stage in a single, no-filler hour.
Designed for comedy fans who want maximum laughs and maximum value, it promises to be one of the most exciting new additions to the Fringe comedy scene.
Elliot Bibby: Abracadada
Award-winning magician and co-founder Elliot Bibby returns to the Edinburgh Fringe with his brand-new solo show, Abracadada.
Combining world-class magic with stories from life as a father of two, the show mixes comedy, parenting chaos and impossible illusions in a uniquely personal hour.
Following performances around the world and appearances at Hollywood's Magic Castle, Bibby's latest production marks an exciting new chapter for one of Scotland's most celebrated magicians.
A Different Kind of Production Company
What sets Insane Productions Ltd apart is its youthful, collaborative approach.
Each director brings a distinct skill set to the table. From technology, lighting and music to creative direction, branding and marketing, the company combines artistic vision with modern production expertise.
Together, the team has built a well-rounded production house with a simple philosophy:
“Treat your artists and collaborators well, and the magic follows.”
As the company enters its biggest Edinburgh Fringe season ever, Insane Productions Ltd remains proudly independent, proudly Edinburgh-based and, in many ways, only just getting started.
With four shows, over 15 team members and more than 20,000 seats available throughout August, Edinburgh Fringe 2026 marks a major milestone in the company's journey - and the most ambitious chapter yet.
