“1 Hour Of Insane Magic” Takes Adelaide Fringe 2026 by Storm

The 2026 Adelaide Fringe has come to a close, and what a month it has been for our show 1 Hour Of Insane Magic. Returning to one of the world’s biggest arts festivals, we set out to push the show further than ever before - and thanks to incredible audiences and an outstanding team behind the scenes, this year exceeded every expectation.

A Record-Breaking Fringe Season

Across the festival, we performed 38 full shows of 1 Hour Of Insane Magic - but in reality, the journey didn’t stop there. With guest spots, pop-up performances, and special appearances, we delivered over 60 performances throughout the Fringe. It was a non-stop, high-energy month that allowed us to connect with audiences in more ways than ever before.

And the response? Truly overwhelming.

Over 4,500 people came to experience the show this year - more than double our 2025 audience. Watching packed rooms night after night, feeling the energy build, and hearing the reactions to each moment of magic reminded us exactly why we love performing at Adelaide Fringe.

One of the Festival’s Top-Rated Shows

Out of more than 1,600 shows at Adelaide Fringe 2026, 1 Hour Of Insane Magic was honoured to be ranked as the third highest-rated show of the entire festival!

For a self-produced, touring magic show to receive that level of recognition at a festival of this scale is something we don’t take lightly. It reflects not just the performances on stage, but how genuinely hard we work behind the scenes!

New Magic, Bigger Reactions

This year also marked the debut of brand-new material, and seeing audiences react to it for the first time was a highlight of the entire run. From gasps to laughter to moments of stunned silence, the new magic quickly became some of the most talked-about parts of the show - you’ll be able to see it all soon!

Evolving the show each year is a huge priority for us, and Adelaide Fringe 2026 proved that audiences are ready for magic that feels fresh, fast-paced, and genuinely surprising.

A Huge Thank You to an Incredible Team

No show like this happens in isolation.

We want to extend a massive thank you to the front of house team and technicians at The Garden Of Unearthly Delights, who worked tirelessly to make every performance run smoothly. Festivals can be chaotic, but their professionalism and energy made it feel seamless.

And a special shoutout goes to our technician, Jake, whos efforts behind the scenes played a huge role in bringing the show to life night after night.

Cementing Our Place as a Must-See Magic Show

Adelaide Fringe 2026 has been a defining moment for 1 Hour Of Insane Magic. The growth in audience numbers, the response to new material, and the recognition across the festival have helped solidify the show as one of the most popular touring magic experiences on the circuit right now. And we couldn’t be more proud!

We’re incredibly proud of how far the show has come - and even more excited about where it’s heading next.

Next Stop: Edinburgh Fringe 2026

The journey continues as we head to the Edinburgh Fringe 2026, where 1 Hour Of Insane Magic will be taking the stage at one of the festival’s most iconic venues: Teviot’s Debating Hall.

It’s a huge space with a rich history, and we’re thrilled to be bringing the show there as part of what promises to be our biggest and most ambitious run yet.

To everyone who came to see the show, supported us, spread the word, or worked behind the scenes - thank you. Adelaide Fringe 2026 is one we’ll never forget.

And if you missed it… we’ll see you next year!
